Are you struggling to carry heavy shopping on public transport?

Our weekly shopping trip leaves from the Hub at 12.45pm and we spend around an hour in a local supermarket. Shoppers are dropped off at home with help with their bags. Cost £3 per trip.

The group is accompanied by a volunteer who can help with high shelves and loading at the checkout. This is not a referral service and shoppers must have a reasonable level of fitness to walk around the store themselves and safely board a people carrier vehicle. Volunteers won’t directly handle any form of payment on behalf of shoppers but will be on hand to assist at checkout if required.
