The Speaker

The Speaker is our local community newspaper for Restalrig, Lochend and Craigentinny in Edinburgh.

It is with regret that we let you know that after a period of review and reflection this year, the Ripple Board have taken the difficult decision to bring the Speaker to an end.

Starting in November 2002, The Speaker has been a regular feature dropping through 6,500 doors in the Restalrig, Lochend and Craigentinny areas, 176 issues.

We do have an idea, that whilst not replacing the Speaker, would enable the distribution of information to our local community and will keep you informed if this proceeds.

We would like to thank everyone who has worked on, contributed to and supported the Speaker over the years.
